by Bus(CarSud): local buses run about every hour weekdays, limited operation evenings and weekends, from the airport directly to the city centre for 400CFP/person. Bus stop is 0.5km walk from airport to main road. 1h15min
by Private Shuttle: shuttles await passengers after every flight and are located on the right after exiting the airport. They will take you directly to the hostel for 3000CFP/person (no reservation necessary). 1h
by Car: you may rent a car in the main terminal for about 3000CFP/day. 45min
by Taxi: fare to Noumea centre: about 8500CFP. 45min

Cargo boat: if you aren't pressed for time but you are for cash, a cargo boat is a great way of getting to the islands. Departures are usually once a week for Isle of Pines and Loyalty Islands, once a month for Vanuatu.
